• 20 Tech & Coding Q and A with Fullsnack Developer

This is a new series I started, I’ll be featuring different #techygrammer [IG] or #techygrammer [articles] asking questions and sharing it with you guys !

This weeks participant is Nicholas aka @Fullsnack_Developer

    A little about this guy:

Fullsnack Developer previously known as @nicholas.olsen101.
He shared pics of him coding with snacks and friends called him fullsnack developer
as supposed to the normal term full-stack developer, he took it to another level and
changed his username, started designing these cool wallpapers.
(I hope I remembered the story right 🙈)
I personally love it! I can see fullsnack being a huge brand for developer swag 😁
I hope you go ahead and try it buddy!

    Onto the Q&A:

    1. Favorite application phone &/or desktop
That’s a hard call to make but I would probably have to say Adobe Illustrator, but Instagram, Spotify and Sublime Text are all extremely close.
    2. Favorite tech item
My Wireless Studio Beats. Nothing shuts the world off and helps me focus better! This is excluding my MacBook Pro which I assumed was obvious lol
    3. Most frequented website: Stack Overflow haha but Awwwards would be very close
    4. Must have device: My iPhone, hands down
    5. Favorite OS phone: I think 4. answered that haha
    6. Your dream tech ?
Four 4k monitors mounted connected to a fully loaded Mac Pro, Vortex Pok3r and Bose surround sound.
    7. Whats’s your motivation for programming ?
I love creating things. Ever since I was a kid I had a drive to build, create and make things. Anything from tree forts to painting pictures, I was making something. So when I was introduced to the tech world my imagination had no boundaries because all you needed was a computer. My motivation for programming is joy of creation.
    8. How did you get introduced into programming ?
I was an artist but knew it was incredibly hard to make it in the fine arts world. I was decent at using computers so I took interactive media development in college. One of the courses was creative programming and since then I couldn’t stop.
    9. What languages do you know ?
The obvious HTML, CSS3, SASS, Javascript, PHP. I’ve played around with Java a lot, some Python and I know this is obscure but ActionScript 3 haha
    10. Favorite Back-end language: I use mainly PHP but I love JavaScript the most
    11. What editor do you use ? Sublime Text 3 (Material Theme)
    12. Go to snack when coding ?
Haha well as this is Fullsnack Developer here… ALL SNACKS! But if I had to choose, I’d say Harvest Cheddar Sun Chips! However, Ritz are cheaper and also awesome so you’ll probably see me eating those more.
    13. Track-pad or mouse ?
Always mouse, magic mouse! The designer in me needs the control lol
    14. Touch or mechanical keyboard ? Mechanical all the way.
    15. Standing or sitting desk ?
I have the benefit of being able to do both thanks to my sit-stand mount! But at heart I’m a sitter.
    16. Coffee / tea / soda / water ?
Coffee for the mornings (lots) and Coke for the evenings
    17. Chrome or Firefox ?
Interestingly enough I started out always using Firefox but I’m all Chrome now.
    18. Music or silence ?
Oh if you know me tunes are constantly rolling! You can follow my playlists on my website fullsnackdeveloper.com/playlists! Every once and a while the silence is nice but for the most part tunes are being pumped!
    19. eBooks or text books ?
I love the feel of a real book when I’m reading.
    20. Video or documentation ?
That depends. If I’m learning a new library, always documentation. If I’m going through a tutorial then video for sure!
